Research indicates patients with complex symptomology and comorbidities experience the sharpest decline in QoL. Providers need to be familiar with the complexities and challenges that can stem from the disease progression, medication usage, symptom manifestation, hospitalization, and the challenges of symptoms and situations including caregiver burden that increases the risk of nursing home placement. In this panel discussion learners will hear perspectives from a physician, APP, social worker and care partner.  Upon completion of this course, HCPs will be prepared to manage various pitfalls and unexpected challenges that can arise for patients living with PD.
