While levodopa has been utilized as a mainstream therapy for decades in the treatment of PD, there have been significant advances in the delivery and formulation of currently existing and new levodopa therapies coming to market, prompting timely and thorough education. Upon completion of this course, HCPs will be able to appraise the various formulations and available options to treat PD using levodopa and other therapies that impact the dopamine system. HCPs will be able to safely manage and treat patients with PD by evaluating expected benefits, side effect profiles, and other safety data.
