In this panel discussion, faculty will provide and review surgical case studies that demonstrate the decision-making process, the involvement of the interdisciplinary team, and the indications for respective surgical therapies. The cases will provide real life examples of treatment outcomes and expectations, complications, patient education and medication management. Learners will gain understanding of patient selection and candidacy in both PD and ET, they will recognize potential risks and complications, and understand best practices for post-surgical management.
