Providers must have the appropriate knowledge, tools, and skills when determining patient candidacy for surgical therapies. Lack of communication and case conferencing among an interdisciplinary team reduces patient acceptance and success with surgical interventions. Upon completion of this course, providers will be able to contribute and perform their role in an interdisciplinary team to determine candidacy and successfully manage post-operative patients.
