Providers need to be familiar with hyperkinetic movement disorders as there are several variations and some present as independent disease, as a symptom of another disease state, or drug-induced and each disorder comes with its own array of treatment options. Several manifestations of these disorders overlap. Educational training that aims to identify and manage these movement disorders will provide better recognition, determination, and treatment of excessive, abnormal and involuntary movements, i.e. Tardive Dyskinesias and other EPS disorders.  Upon completion of this course, HCPs will be able to scrutinize the specific benefits of various therapy options in the context of individual patient presentation and best strategies to apply in clinical practice.
